Travel back to the lively nightclubs of the 1960s and 1970s, where American Cabaret bellydance thrived amid the rise of feminism and multiculturalism. In this workshop, Samira guides you through crafting a full-length, fully improvised set, structured around classic musical rhythms. You'll kick off with a spunky opening to hook the audience, glide into a captivating veil section, melt into an emotive floorwork sequence, and wrap up with a high-energy drum solo finale. This hands-on class dives into the art of improvisation and celebrates the bold, feminine spirit of this iconic dance era.
